TRW
With the rapid development of the local automotive industry, TRW decided to expand its operations in China.
The Challenge
The Shanghai project involved setting up a technical centre, followed by the office headquarters. The time frame for setting up the office and budget were critical aspects of this project
Our Strategy
In accordance with TRW's requirements, Savills simultaneously initiated a comprehensive search of office and development zones for both facilities. A rigorous RFP process, detailing all client expectations and taking into account TRW's corporate image, was done before liaising with various development parks and landlords to ensure the best commercial leasing package for the client.
The Outcome
Once a long-term office address was confirmed, and it was ascertained that the building setup and facilities were able to satisfy the client's requirements, a short-term office solution was identified and secured, allowing TRW to be immediately operational while the permanent space was being secured. Both a downtown office and independent building in a development zone for sole occupancy which met the technical needs of TRW were secured on favorable leasing terms.
